A very enjoyable video by a very good band, but don't be fooled. This band also likes to party. I truly enjoyed this performance and video and when they joined with there band buddies from Takefu Commercial high school that was very special. I truly loved it. Tokyo Katusika Sougou High School Brass Band has quickly become one of my favorite bands. A great post.
What an advert to attract more young people to playing. It takes a lot for someone to come along (like Glen Millar) and show what these more classical based instruments can be used for. What a coup music to attract the young. This also shows what music is all about sharing and caring with your fellow musicians and the wider community. These 2 bands can put on a concert I have seen the technical performances but what sets them above the rest is the ability to do an excellent entertainment show. Not one straight face just full of smiles and lots of interaction between the bands. On my list!!!!
The second number the band played is a favorite of mine. I 've never heard it elsewhere It is unique here. Can anyone give the name of the piece? Band does a great job with it. Arigato
